In the fast-paced world of startups, optimizing financial operations is crucial. The Integrations section within your accounting system can be a game-changer. Follow these steps to set up bank accounts or credit cards seamlessly:
Setting Up Bank Accounts or Credit cards:
- Navigate to the “Integrations” tab, located in the “Accounting” section of Firstbase.
- Under the “Banks” section, click on “Search” to open Plaid, a secure platform for connecting accounts.
- Search for your bank, select it and follow the guided Plaid flow to add your business bank and credit card accounts.
- Ensure that you only add accounts associated with your business and not personal accounts.
- Whenever you need to add more accounts, return to the Integrations section and select “Add Account.”
Setting Up Stripe as your Payment Processor:
- Visit the “Integrations” tab in the “Accounting” section of Firstbase.
- Under the “Payments” section, click on "Stripe", a widely-used payment processing platform.
- Depending on your situation, either connect an existing Stripe account by following the prompts or create a new Stripe account and proceed with the flow.
