Steps to open a Payoneer Account

Once you are ready to open a banking account, Payoneer is a great option that is directly integrated with our platform. It is important to note that everything related to your account approval and handling is managed directly by the Payoneer team.

To open a banking account follow these steps:

1. In your Founder's dashboard, you'll find the section "Banking", click there.

2. You will now see a banner with Payoneer information and a button to apply, click to start.

3. The screen will redirect you to the Payoneer account opening steps, for which depending on the stage of your business is what you should include:

If you already have an EIN:

• • Select the option “Yes, I own or represent a registered business”

  • Next you will be prompted to add your address and phone number, here you can add your US address or if you have the Mailroom service, you can add the corresponding address

  • In the next step, it will ask you to select your security questions and here is where you will add your EIN and incorporation date (found in your certificate of incorporation)

  • At the end, you will add the business bank account in your local country where you will be receiving the funds that have been deposited to Payoneer.

If you don't have an EIN yet, but your business is registered in your home country:

• Select “Yes, I own or represent a registered business”

• Add 2 addresses: US address and home country address, to do this you should select the checkbox that reads "My company's registered (legal) address is different from above"

• Add the national registration number for your company

• At the end, you will add the business bank account in your local country where you will be receiving the funds that have been deposited to Payoneer

• Once you receive your EIN, you can request Payoneer to add it to your account and enable your account to receive USD.

If you don't have an EIN yet, and your business is NOT registered in your home country:

• Select “No, my business isn't registered”

• Add your home country address

• Add your national ID

• At the end, you will add your local bank account information, where you will receive the funds deposited in Payoneer.

• Once you receive your EIN, you can request Payoneer to add this to your account and habilitate the USD Receiving function.
