Delaware companies: Why is the address on my Certificate different the SS4 form?

In Delaware, the address on your Certificate of Formation/Incorporation differs from your SS4 form because it's the registered agent's address, not your business address. 

The address you see on the Certificate is the registered agent address, whereas your company's address is disclosed in the SS4 form.

We don't include the company's address on the Certificate to prevent customers from incurring additional costs and delays associated with amendment requests for business address changes. We aim to ensure a streamlined process without unnecessary expenses.
